I'm parishing away....

So my parents must be thinking how on earth their girl is doing over here in Abbotsford in this H E A T. Are you?!?!

Well, I was fine, until I came home and tried to do some cleaning up around the house and their was water dripping off my face and running down my leg. Ewww, yuck. How gross!

Oh and I forgot to mention that earlier this month we were having water pressure issues at our place. We talked to our landlord about it and he figured it was due to the construction and piping work happening on our street. We thought we would let it go until the work was done, he very well could have been right, or we could have been right that his house has sucky water pressure and he needs to fix it!

So we have been back from holidays since Sunday night and since then the water seems worse than before we left. How can they not notice? On Wednesday I was washing my car and my landlord went into the back to water his garden. I lost water and it was barely trickling out of the house. Imagine how sweet I looked trying to rinse the car off!!!! Then, last night, I'm getting ready to go to bed and I jump in the shower after a busy day of working, cleaning, and playing in the sunshine. And NOT to my surprise, the water is barely coming out of the shower. Literally it was so horrible that I was in there for 30 minutes, just trying to wash my hair and body RIDICULOUS! When I got out, Chris had come home from work and I freaked out. (Sorry honey) The water pressure has been an issue since we moved in here, but it was manageable. So today my honey called the City, yes, those lovely people who are STRIKING! The guy checked out the water grid/map thingie and said we are in a lower water pressure area and due to the lack of water in the summer could be experiencing issues. Also, there was a fire in the area and alot of the water was used so the resevoir is very low. But still, there is no way water restrictions affect you that much that in a sudivision with lots of other people you have four drops of water coming out of your faucet!!!! We talked to the neighbours and their water is fine, its just us. Now the tough part comes where the landlord needs to do some investigations (we've done our part) and fix the problem. The city worker told us its most likely at our landlords end if other people are not experiencing the problem and he said with the hot weather we are going to have this weekend, we are going to notice it getting worse. Okay....so we aren't going to have any water??!?! LOVELY!!!! I talked to the landlord and him and Chris are going to look at it tomorrow morning. SHeesh! He then told me that he was trying to water his gardens last night and the water shut off and NOTHING was coming out of it. If we wouldn't have said anything he would not have even started to think about fixing it. What is with these people?!? Please pray that the situation is fixed in a decent amount of time. Showers are crucial in weather like this!

We go to the dog show on Thursday. I will let you know how it goes. The party was very good. But poor Rich was the only guy there and was very bored.
