Stormy Day

I can't believe the weather today. It was going to be my day at home to get some paperwork done, but our power ended up going out at 11:30 this morning and hasn't come back on yet (that I know of) I worked for as long as I could by the natural light in our kitchen window and then headed out in this ridiculous weather to the public library where I sit now. I got some much needed work done, so that was a bonus. Turns out that just when I arrived the power came back on here too, thank goodness for that!!! So before I leave I thought I would share a little post with you all. This weekend we are still hoping to be going away to see my parents, however, today the ferries to Naniamo were not running due to the stormy and windy weather. I'm praying that the winds will calm down so we can enjoy our long weekend away. If not, there is always next weekend, although that means missing our mother and daughter day on Friday and a rushed trip over to the island to help my parents move. Please pray for a weather change so we can be with my parents this weekend.

I'm off to venture home and see if I have power. I was suppose to have a meeting otnight but that has been cancelled due no power and the fact that one of the staff members cant get out here from Surrey. There are apparently trees all over the place.
